Double Trouble - Punter Voids Winning Bet  An unlucky football fan managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory when he called contacted a bookmaker to cancel a £100 bet that he had intended to place just £10 on. The bet, which was at odds of 30-1, would’ve resulted in a cool £3000 profit, and so it’s sods law that after he successfully cancelled it, it went on to win.

 

The bet, which occured earlier in the year, was for both first scorer and result in a Rangers vs Fraserburgh game, and that was the eventual result. Upon winning, or rather losing on account that he voided the bet, the punter took to twitter to share his misfortunate with a wider audience:
